Ben from Dada's on Pier Street in the City Says;
of Stereolab's new album Chemical Chords; Stereolab are Stereolab. And nearly twenty years in it’s not hard to be a bit cluey as to what their new album will sound like. Their character comes through in all of their music from their noisy Velvet's groove fuzzfests to their krauty lounge pop to their new album of footstomping ecstatic Motown madness. Stereolab are one of the greats, so its good to see them on top form just before they hit our shores for the laneway festival The music video for‘”Three Women” is a state of the art special effects spectacular.
